Mr. Joseph Porreca grew up in La Verne and has lived in Claremont for the past ten years. He is a licensed, full-time real estate professional. His educational journey includes attending Citrus College and Cal Poly Pomona. Mr. Porreca earned a degree in international business and marketing.

Currently a member of "Active Claremont," Mr. Porreca previously served as president of the organization that advocates for communication and understanding between Claremont citizens and their local government, promotes public awareness and interest in local issues, and encourages volunteerism in the Claremont community.

Mr. Porreca has a fondness for Citrus College, stating the college played a vital role in his educational journey. He believes that joining the Citizens' Oversight Committee presents an excellent opportunity to contribute and support Citrus College.

Mr. Porreca serves a two-year term as a member-at-large representative on the Citizens' Oversight Committee.
