Citrus College is approved as a degree granting institution for veterans and eligible dependents seeking educational and/or vocational training under Title 38, United States Code. Students attending Citrus College under Title 38, Chapters 30, 31, 33, 35, 1606, 1607 and California veterans are invited and urged to take advantage of the guidance service and educational training offered by Citrus College. Returned service personnel are aided in securing the training necessary to realize their vocational aims.
Citrus College cooperates with the Veterans Administration and with the California State Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation in helping veterans.

Chapter 30: Montgomery GI Bill® Active Duty (MGIB-AD)
Active duty and service members that are eligible for MGIB-AD can receive a monthly education benefit depending on the length of service and full- or part-time student status.
Chapter 31: Vocational Rehabilitation
Vocational Rehabilitation is an educational assistance program that is available to disabled veterans who are in need of vocational rehabilitation.
Chapter 33: Post 9/11 GI Bill®
Service members are eligible for tuition benefits based on length of service, plus other eligibility requirements. Stipends for living expenses, books and supplies are included.
Chapter 1606: Montgomery GI Bill® – Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR)
Selected Reserve servicemembers that are eligible for MGIB-SR can apply this benefit toward their education costs.
