The Citrus College Achievement Awards ceremony is one of the most meaningful and highly anticipated celebrations of the year. It is always a privilege to recognize our most outstanding students, including Service Leader of the Year and Athletes of the Year, as well as the recipients of the Key of Knowledge and Distinguished Student Awards. Although we are unable to hold our 58th annual ceremony in-person, we are thrilled to honor our amazing students virtually.
Even with the unprecedented challenges they faced this academic year, the individuals being celebrated found a way to dedicate a significant amount of their time and energy toward achieving their educational goals. On behalf of the Citrus College community, I want to congratulate these phenomenal students for their focus and resilience in getting the job done.
Seeing students develop and succeed is one of the main reasons educators pursue teaching careers. I want to acknowledge the faculty and staff who worked alongside these students – their success would not have been possible without your help! I also want to recognize the family and friends of our outstanding students for their unwavering support.
While it is true that Citrus College has much to offer its students, it is also true that the contributions of our student body help drive institutional progress. The accomplishments of this year's honorees serve as inspiration to the entire college community. So much has been accomplished this past year, and the Achievement Awards allow us to reflect on all the good that has transpired.
Once again, it is my honor to commend each of these magnificent students for their hard work and dedication. You make us all proud!
Best wishes in your future academic and professional endeavors! Stay healthy and stay safe!
