Meet the Team
Oscar Hernandez is currently set to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona as a civil engineering major. He chose to be a part of the team because he wanted to learn more about the world of coding and Arduinos.
Laura Irene Olexa is planning to transfer at the end of the next academic year as chemistry major. She joined the Rocketry and Robotics team at Citrus College because she has a passion for learning and intends to use her creativity with the information gained to help improve the planet and welfare of others.
Roxana Ramirez is transferring to Cal Poly Pomona to major in aerospace engineering. She joined the team because she wanted to broaden her knowledge and skills in technology and engineering.
Anthony Jimenez plans to transfer to major in computer engineering. He has always been passionate about technology and its engineered beneficial abilities. He chose to be part of this team because he wanted to have a great experience to do group research for a multidisciplinary student-designed STEM project.
Phoebe Forbeck is currently finishing her senior year at Glendora High School and will become a full-time Citrus College student in the fall. Upon transfer, she intends to major in aerospace engineering. She joined the team because it was a fantastic opportunity to build different technical skills and have fun doing it
Jose Vasquez Rosales is an aerospace engineer major transferring to Cal Poly Pomona in the fall. He chose to join the Rocketry and Robotics team because he believed that being part of the team and completing the projects will help him gain experience for his major. He also wanted to have fun with creating Arduino projects.
