Job Duties: About the Pride Center: The Pride Center at Citrus College is an inclusive space for students and staff. It provides a safe space with dedicated support for students to thrive and accomplish their academic and/or career goals. The Pride Center coordinator connects the campus community with resources, facilitates LGBTQIA+ ally training, and provides programming and workshops tailored for queer students.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The Pride Center student assistant will work with the Pride Center Coordinator to foster a safe and inclusive environment. The assistant will handle duties as assigned which include but are not limited to: greeting Pride Center visitors, offering Pride Center tours, distribution of flyers, event/workshop support, classroom visits to promote the Pride Center, and information tabling.

Job Duties: The MTRK Department is looking for a student worker to fulfill several responsibilities. These include sweeping and mopping the shop floors, taking out the trash, and organizing and cleaning toolboxes and storage cabinets. The student worker will also be responsible for ensuring that all vehicle batteries are charged and moving heavier items such as engine stands, toolboxes, cabinets, and workbenches. Additional tasks include painting, labeling, and marking off lab stations and equipment, as well as disposing of waste fluids and filters. Following basic shop safety guidelines and wearing PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves when necessary, is also required. While the ability to operate a forklift would be beneficial, it is not a necessity.
