Students who received a previous placement will be provided with a new placement in accordance with their self-reported high school GPA and the last math course completed in high school with a "C-" or better.
Students who received a placement and attempted an English 101 but failed to complete or pass the course do have the option of self-placing into and attempting English 101E. However, students who received a placement in and attempted an English 101E but failed to complete or pass the course, do not have the option of self-placing into and attempting English 101. They must retake English 101E.
Students who have already completed a college level math course will be eligible to take the next math course in their sequence.
Students who have completed a basic skills math course and would have not been eligible for transfer level math will now be eligible for the following transfer level math courses:
- Math 160: Mathematics for Everyday Living
- Math 165 + 065: Introductory Statistics with corequisite support
- Math 168: Mathematics for Elementary Teachers I
- Math 175 + 075: Pre-Calculus with corequisite support
- Math 180 + 080: Calculus for Business and Social Sciences with corequisite support
