More than two dozen Citrus College Emerging Theatre Technologies program students, faculty and staff recently traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland, to experience the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

While attending the performing arts festival, which has roots going back to the 1940s, the Citrus College group attended many local productions and took in a variety of sights, including the Scottish Highlands, Loch Ness, Glen Coe and Sterling Castle.

While in Edinburgh, the group attended a theater production starring Sarah Hinrichsen, daughter of former Haugh Performing Arts Center director Greg Hinrichsen. They also got a backstage tour of the Royal Military Tattoo and met its creative director. Every August, thousands come to see the series of military displays and musical performances at Edinburgh Castle.

On behalf of the campus community, we would like to congratulate this outstanding group for their hard work throughout the year, which paved the way for this trip to occur!
