Registered Dental Assisting Program at Citrus College

Due to developments concerning Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Program Mandatory Orientation Information Sessions will be taking place via Zoom until further notice. Additional information regarding Citrus College's COVID-19 response efforts may be found at or on our social media accounts. You are also encouraged to download the new Citrus Mobile app to receive important notifications.

Dental assisting is an exciting field which offers many options, as well as many opportunities for advancement within dentistry. This program can provide you with a great career or a solid foundation upon which to build future goals.

The faculty of the Citrus College RDA program is committed to educating students who will then become trained, skilled and professional members of the dental health team. As part of the dental health team, it is our responsibility as dental assistants to develop our skills to their fullest potential so patients receive the best possible care.

Our program here at Citrus College has an excellent reputation, while providing a quality, affordable education. The curriculum is, at times, challenging, but students find, if committed to their learning, the faculty will provide the support and help needed to succeed.

Graduates tell us regularly how much they learn while in this program, not only about dentistry, but about themselves and how much they grow as a result of their education at Citrus College.
