CalFresh Assistance
CalFresh is a monthly cash assistance program for food. You can buy groceries and fresh produce at participating stores and farmers markets.
Enroll for CalFresh online. If you need assistance applying to CalFresh, contact basic needs coordinator Alexis Silva at

Food Pantry
The Citrus College Food Pantry provides non-perishable items to those in need of food resources.
All Citrus College students are eligible to access the food pantry in the Ross L. Handy Campus Center (CC) from Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. when school is in session.
Grocery Gift Card
The
grocery gift cards are intended to support students who struggle with food insecurity. The program provides help to students with food purchases on a first-come, first-served basis.
* Applicants must have currently completed the FAFSA or California Dream Act application prior to applying for any of the basic needs grants.
The last day to apply for the grocery gift cards is May 24, 2023. Applications will reopen on the first day of summer classes, June 26, 2023.
Mobile Food Pantry
During the 2022-2023 academic year, the college hosts a mobile food pantry event on campus to support students experiencing food insecurity. All mobile food pantry events are located in the Campus Center Mall, which is located between the Hayden Memorial Library (LI) and the Center for Innovation (CI) building. Everyone is welcome.
Spring 2023 semester dates/times:
Monday, March 6 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday, April 3 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday, May 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday, June 5 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Summer 2023 session dates/times:
Monday, July 3 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday, August 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
