Home Health Aide at Citrus College
Citrus College offers a home health aide program during the winter and summer intersessions. This program is approved by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
This 40-hour program is designed for current CNA's to expand their existing role to home care settings and home health aide agencies. The program consists of 20 hours of theory and 20 hours of clinical experience. Upon successful completion of the home health aide course, a skill award will be issued and the student becomes eligible for certification as a home health aide by the State of California.
