What is Degree Works?

Degree Works is an online degree audit program and a student education planning tool designed to help students understand the degree requirements for their course of study offered at Citrus College.

Degree Works Features

• Audit Worksheet
  You are encouraged to use the Degree Works audit worksheet as a guide when planning your progress toward completion of course of study requirements. The audit is not your academic transcript, and it is not an official notification of course of study completion for a certificate or degree. You must officially apply for a certificate or a degree. Visit the appropriate counseling office to schedule an appointment for assistance in interpreting this plan.
  
  
• Student Education Plan (SEP)
  The SEP is a term-by-term plan that lists the courses in a recommended sequence as advised by your counselor or advisor. However, if you, the student, create an SEP, it will not be official until you meet with a counselor or advisor. An official SEP will meet the matriculation and enrollment priority requirements. Use this SEP as a guide for tracking your progress toward completion of your selected course of study. Please visit the appropriate counseling office to update your SEP and schedule an appointment for assistance in interpreting this plan.

  Note: your catalog rights determine your eligibility for degrees and certificates. It is important that you speak with a counselor regarding the course of study that applies to you.
  
  

• Other College Transcripts or Foreign Transcripts
  At this time, other college transcripts or foreign transcripts will not be reflected automatically in the Degree Works tool. If you are a student with other college transcripts, you must submit official transcripts to admissions and records and request an official coursework evaluation online with admissions and records.
  
  

• Credit by Exam
  To receive credit for credit by examination (AP, IB, CLEP), you must submit official scores to admissions and records and request credit by examination credit online with the admissions and records staff.
