California Acceleration Project (CAP)
CAP is a faculty-led professional development network that supports the state’s 113 community colleges to transform remediation to increase student completion and equity. CAP is focused on one primary outcome: increasing the number of students who go on to complete transferable gateway courses in English and math, a critical early momentum point toward longer term degree and transfer outcomes. The website features information on placement, co-requisites, two-course pathways, and publications.
California Community College Vision Resource Center
A portal dedicated to providing support needed to meet the goals of the vision for success through the Guided Pathways framework.
California Virtual Campus Online Courses
CVC-OEI is a collaborative effort among California community colleges to ensure that significantly more students are able to complete their educational goals by increasing both access to and success in high-quality online courses. This website also features a tab for faculty with resources on professional development, Canvas CCMS, policies and effective practices, resources for underprepared students, proctoring, and plagiarism detection.
Professional Learning Network
The California Community College Professional Learning Network (PLN) is a one-stop site for effective practices, trainings and other resources. The content is free to access and available to California community college faculty, staff, administrators and trustees. The purpose of the PLN, which was launched in April 2016, is to provide information and resources to college personnel on improving operations and student success.
