This past summer, several Citrus College students studied abroad in Osaka, Japan! During their monthlong experience, students explored the neon-list streets of Osaka, the temples of Kyoto and even bowed to the famously polite deer of Nara.

Alongside studying psychology with instructors Shawna Bigby and Brianne Levine-Peters, Citrus College students connected with Japanese university students, drummed taiko, joined a cooking class and discovered Japan on their own during free time.

Next up for Citrus College Study Abroad is winter in Costa Rica and spring in Barcelona, Spain!
