EOPS/CARE

The following are the basic eligibility criteria for the EOPS program.

Because every case is different, students are encouraged to come by the EOPS office or call and discuss their circumstances with a staff member.

• California resident or AB540 student
• Enrolled in 12 or more units at Citrus College
• Less than 70 degree applicable units completed
• Eligible for the California College Promise Grant (Method A or B)
  
• Demonstrated educational needs, as determined by EOPS director/counselor
• Must have a 2.0 cumulative grade point average
• May not have completed an associate degree

In order to receive and continue to receive services from EOPS, students must:

• Attend an EOPS orientation
• Complete two counselor contacts each semester
• Submit an academic progress report each semester
• Maintain a current Student Education Plan (SEP)
• Maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average​

Review and make note of important semester start and end dates.

CARE services include:

• grants
• meal tickets
• school supplies
• counseling/advisement
• peer networking
• transportation assistance
• assistance with textbook funding
• self-development workshops

Are You Eligible for CARE Services?
In order to receive CARE services, students must:

• qualify for EOPS
• have at least one child
• be a single head of household
• be a participant in TANF/CalWORKs
