Adapted Testing Protocols for Faculty
Exams must be delivered no later than 8:30 a.m. exam day, including a Testing Request Form, to ensure processing. Earlier delivery whenever possible is appreciated.
The Testing Request Form must include all pertinent information including:
- names of DSPS students,
- time allotted for exam,
- materials allowed and
- delivery method of exam once completed.
Deliver paper tests via email as attachments (if fewer than 10 copies) or hard copy in person.
For Canvas exams, having a physical copy of the test is useful if systems fail and we need to administer printed versions of the exam.
Exams can be returned using campus mail, or they may be held in the testing office based on your preference.
Please keep in mind that campus mail may take one week or longer, and we cannot track any tests sent through it. Instructors also have the option of asking students to return exams in a security envelope. Be sure to indicate your preference on the Testing Request Form.
For students who need large print or Braille materials, instructors must ensure that exams are delivered to Laks Floriano, alternate media specialist, in SS 132, or emailed to lfloriano@citruscollege.edu at least one week before the exam date.
Please be aware that the Testing Center:
- does not offer make-up exams for any student. A make-up exam includes any exam not taken with the class.
- does not deliver oral portions of exams. All students are to receive the same delivery of the oral portion of the exam as other students in the same class. It is the instructor's responsibility to make appropriate arrangements with the student to either conduct the oral portion of the exam in person during the instructor's office hours or to deliver a recorded version of the oral questions to the Testing Center, which the proctor will play for the student during the test. Recorders are available through Laks Floriano in SS 132 or by calling him at (626) 914-8675.
