Ms. Laura J. Bollinger was elected to the Citrus Community College District Board of Trustees in November 2020. As the representative for trustee area 2, she serves the communities of Claremont and portions of La Verne and Pomona.
A Claremont resident for over 25 years, Ms. Bollinger has participated in numerous community organizations and has held leadership roles on several occasions. Her local involvement includes time spent with the Claremont Community Foundation; Claremont Heritage; Friends of the Claremont Library; and two organizations that serve the Claremont Colleges.
In the broader Los Angeles community, Ms. Bollinger has been a member of the Fairplex Association board for nearly 20 years. In this role, she focuses on art and educational programs. She is also the chair of the Los Angeles County Library Foundation, an organization that raises funds to supplement the outstanding library programs in Los Angeles County.
Ms. Bollinger is a proud graduate of Citrus College and a former member of the world-renown Citrus Singers music group. After earning her associate degree in business, she transferred to California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. Upon graduation, she worked as a compensation analyst for the humanitarian organization, World Vision.
As a proud alumna, Ms. Bollinger has maintained her connection to Citrus College over the years. In addition to attending events at the college, she was involved with the Citrus College Foundation for many years. In 2013, Ms. Bollinger was selected to receive the college's Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of her years of community service.
