Congratulations to several of our Citrus College Architecture students who were recently accepted to Cal Poly Pomona and California Baptist University!
Sebastian Stjernbo (top row, second from right) will be attending Cal Poly Pomona in the fall to study architecture.
"Despite challenges with cultural adjustment upon my arrival to the U.S. and the transition to online learning, I received invaluable support from my teachers," he said. "Looking back over the years, I am glad to have made meaningful friendships with both educators and fellow students."
After obtaining his bachelor's degree, Stjernbo plans to return to his native Sweden and explore professional opportunities that will allow him to maintain ties to the United States.
Omar Ocegueda will be joining Stjernbo at Cal Poly Pomona to study architecture.
"Citrus College is a great opportunity to decide where you want to be and what you want to be in the future," he said.
Thank you for your service to Citrus College, Owls! The campus community can't wait to see what you accomplish next!
