Kudos to the Citrus College Dental Assisting program for participating in CDA Cares, a program that allows dentists and dental professionals to provide dental services at no charge to those without dental insurance.

Two dental assisting faculty members, Dawn Brewster and Monique Navarro, and three students, Mario Herrera, Christin Linawaty and Eileen Romero, joined more than 1,400 other volunteers in San Bernardino in late September.

In just two days, volunteers helped 1,626 individuals receive 10,412 dental treatments valued at more than $1.4 million.

This is just one more reason why the Citrus College Dental Assisting program is SMILES above the rest!
