Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the dual admission program, students must:
- be a California resident (AB 540 are also eligible).
- on track to graduate from a California high school.
- apply for freshman admission.
- not be admitted to any UC campus to which they applied.
- have at least a 3.0 GPA at the time of application.
- be missing one or more A-G subject requirements at the time of high school graduation.

- Waiver of application fee to the receiving campus upon transfer
To Participate
Eligible students will be identified by the UC and will receive an email to:
- accept offer to participate in the dual admission program via their UC application.
- select:
- a participating UC campus, which is TAG based.
- a major from the available options at their chosen campus.
- enroll in a California community college.
- create a UC Transfer Admission Planner (TAP) account.
- update UC TAP every term.
- transfer to your selected UC campus within three years.
