UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)

The University of California (UC) Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program offers qualified California community college students guaranteed admission to one of six participating UC campuses:

  • UC Davis
  • UC Irvine
  • UC Merced
  • UC Riverside
  • UC Santa Barbara
  • UC Santa Cruz

By fulfilling a series of required courses with a minimum grade point average (GPA), Citrus College students can apply and be guaranteed admission at a UC.

Benefits of Applying for TAG

Students who qualify for TAG will:

  1. be guaranteed admission to a four-year university,
  2. receive early review of your academic records and admission notice by the university,
    and
  3. work closely with counselor to outline required courses needed for your educational goals.
