Monique Gregoire-Williams is an attorney in the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office assigned to the Pomona courthouse. Dr. Gregoire-Williams has been with the public defender's office since 1991 and is currently a deputy III representing clients charged with felony crimes ranging from theft to murder. She is preparing for the deputy public defender IV exam which is required to represent defendants charged with murder with special circumstances which may result in the death penalty. Dr. Gregoire-Williams has been nominated on several occasions for recognition as trial lawyer of the year with the public defender's office. Her son, Marcus, attended Citrus College, completed classes in the administration of justice and transferred to the University of California Irvine where he completed his bachelor's degree. Marcus was recently admitted to the Whittier College School of Law.

During high school, Dr. Gregoire-Williams competed in track events with the Southern California Cheetahs and was a member of the track teams at Mount San Antonio College and University of California Irvine, specializing in 800 meter and 1500 meter events. Her father, Ernie Gregoire, coached women's track events at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Gregoire currently coaches track at Mount San Antonio College.

Dr. Gregoire-Williams has an Associate of Science from Mount San Antonio College, a Bachelor of Science from University of California Irvine, and a Juris Doctorate from University of La Verne Law School.
