Assembly Bill 705 (Irwin), Assembly Bill 1805 (Irwin), and Multiple Measures Assessment Project (MMAP): Legal Requirements and Local Implementation at Citrus College
In accordance with California Assembly Bill 705 (Irwin), California Assembly Bill 1805 (Irwin) and the Multiple Measures Assessment Project (MMAP), Citrus College will use self-reported high school grade point average (GPA) and the last math course in high school with a "C-" or better in the placement of students into English and mathematics courses.
Furthermore, Citrus College has made modifications to English and mathematics courses to maximize the probability that a student will enter and complete transfer-level coursework in English and mathematics within a one-year timeframe. Answers to the following questions will provide information on the changes being implemented at Citrus College under AB 705, AB 1805, and MMAP.
