The Citrus College Nursing program counselors are dedicated to ensure that prospective nursing applicants have information and access to services provided by the college needed for success in the nursing program.
One of the most important things you can do to ensure your success in the nursing program is to maintain regular contact with a nursing counselor. Counseling services include:
- Academic advising
- Transcript evaluation
- Educational planning
- Referrals to program and campus resources
- Nursing pathways (CNA, LVN, LVN-ADN, ADN, ADN-BSN, LVN-BSN and other nursing options)
- Review of graduation requirements, including prerequisite (core sciences) GPA
- Up-to-date information about transfer for nursing majors through the use of
ASSIST and other resources
Schedule an Appointment
Nursing counselors are available for in-person, telephone, and video counseling appointments. There are different options for scheduling an appointment with a nursing counselor.
Option One
Use the
online appointment system. Appointments with nursing counselor, Jorge Acosta, can be located on the general counseling scheduler
and nursing scheduler. Appointments with nursing counselor Vanessa Juarez can only be located on the general counseling scheduler.
