Online Education

​Online ​education courses are listed on WingSpan​.

• Select the term you are interested in (and be certain to click "Change Term" button).
• Under "by Schedule Type," select the "online education" items.
• Then click the "Search" button.

If you need an add code from the instructor to register for or add a class, you will find the instructor's contact information on the introduction page.

​​​​​​WingSpan is the registration venue and can be accessed from your computer using the Internet. Before you register, review the schedule planning tips. When selecting classes, avoid class hour conflicts, check for required lab sections, and clear prerequisites. If you experience difficulties accessing WingS​pan,​ please call (626) 914-8511. If you experience difficulties registering, call the WingSpan help desk at (626) 914-8833.

The Citrus College Testing Center offers test administration and proctoring of exams for online classes. Students must present a Citrus College student ID to use the testing center. For more information, such as student responsibilities and policies, review the testing center web page​.

​The ​​Online Education d​epartment does not make name changes directly in Canvas, but you can request a Preferred Name from the Registrar's office, and it will be reflected in Canvas. Make this request by clicking on the Student Update Form.​

​​There could be a few reasons why you don't see the course.

• If your instructor has not published the course, it will not appear on your Canvas dashboard.
  
  
• If you have many courses on your Canvas dashboard, it may be hidden.
  • Click on Courses in the left navigation
  • Click on All Courses to see all your enrollments courses
    
    
• If your instructor has published the course and you do not see the course, you are not on the roster for the class.
  • Check your Wingspan account to make certain​ you are enrolled in the class.
  • It may take up to 12 hours from the time you enroll to be added to the Canvas course.
